Using behavioral science to help organizations improve performance

Benjamin Gray is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who offers consultation to organizations looking to improve team performance. After a decade in Special Education, Ben has taken his passion for using behavioral science to improve lives and put it toward helping leaders use the science of how people learn at work and to teach those leaders how they can use that knowledge to create organizations which produce happy, productive employees who deliver consistent performance.

Ben will work with your team to identify the outcomes you need to achieve, pinpoint the performance or results we need to change in order to get those outcomes, design and implement an intervention, monitor for progress, and repeat this process as necessary until the changes are significant enough to produce the desired outcome. A behavior-based approach is different from your average management consultant because we won’t just talk a big talk and hope for the best; we carefully assess the metrics that matter throughout the process to make sure you’re getting productive change in the end.

This approach works wherever there is human performance. Regardless of industry, Ben can help you make a plan to improve any organization with more than one employee. If you are a leader looking to boost your team's performance and build the kind of work environment that attracts and retains top talent, please reach out so we can make a plan to help you reach your goals.

What sorts of problems we can solve by working together?

Training

        • We need to build a staff training program from scratch and want to make sure we get it right.

        • We like our training program but wish we could be more efficient with resources.

        • Most of the time our new employees do well throughout training but it depends – sometimes an employee makes it all the way through training before we realized they aren’t going to be successful. We want a training program which will catch those cases sooner so we can better support our staff before it’s too late.

        • Our staff training is inconsistent – staff are having wildly different experiences depending on who is training them.

        • We have a big change (new systems, new products, new processes) coming up and we need to get everyone ready so there’s a smooth transition.

        • We have some great employees that show leadership potential, how do I teach them the skills they need to become managers?

        • Other training related challenges or opportunities for improvement

Performance Management

        • Our staff are well trained but perform inconsistently.

        • My employees know what they are supposed to be doing, but when a manager isn’t watching, it doesn’t happen.

        • I’m trying everything I can think of to keep staff happy, but we have so much turnover!

        • I want to bring the best out of my team and I feel like there’s more I could be doing, I just don’t know how to start.

        • Other situations where improving your team's performance can bolster the bottom line.
